Eva's adjustment period

Today on the blog, i thought id share a story from my life. Thought you might enjoy it. I mean, who doesn't love photos of cute cats?

Recently, we moved into a new home. It has been a couple of crazy months and a transition for my wife and I but, I think the one who has had it the roughest is our cat Eva (think about the movie Wall-e Eeeeevvaa). When we first moved into the house she hid for several hours. she then started to make her way out into this new place she would now call home. For several days, I would find her hiding in the strangest places. The second day we were here, I was sitting on our couch with a blanket. I called for Eva but she did not respond. later, I got up to see if i could find her and to my surprise (and hers) I stepped on her. She had decided a good place to nestle up was under my blanket by my feet. She also has found a new way of sitting on her perch. If you can explain how she does this to me, I will be impressed. How is that comfortable?! My wife at one point told me that I needed to start documenting these moments. I know it's a little weird to have a blog about a cat but she is very special to us and we love her very much. She is now well adjusted to her new place and as you can see for some of the photos at the end, she is quite comfortable in her new home. I call these, "Eva's adjustment period." Enjoy!
